 The fact of the matter is that these companies promise you; a small business owner, that THEY are the key to your success. Whether it be through the implementation of their “secret and highly researched” magical formula for business success or their (Insert Random Promise Here). Either way, they promise you results – They’ll get you to the top of Google search rankings and they’ll double your sales in a week – Maybe they’ll even throw in a nifty gift bag with some cool graphics and a motivational poster – But what are they actually doing for you as a business owner?

 Nothing. “Wait… What?! Nothing? I just paid this company a fortune, obviously I’m going to be an overnight success!” Trust me, I wish it was that simple myself. If I just had to invest my entire life savings into a single company, formula, or brilliant business model in order to witness my amazingly magical success overnight; I would do it! I mean, who wouldn’t? But that’s the point – WHO WOULDN’T? This is how these companies make big sales along with big promises and often deliver zero results.

 Many small business owners simply refuse to do business with marketing companies due to this sad state of affairs.
